If there is one common thought about travel right now, it's that everyone is eager to go somewhere, ANYWHERE, other than home or maybe to your grocery store if you need food.

As places start to open more,  people are more inclined to travel.  But not surprisingly, the majority of those willing want to stay close to home.  Domestic travel is undoubtedly more popular than international, so then the decision comes to how to get there.

Flying

  1. Time - you'll nearly always get to your destination faster
  2. Cost - Fares are often insanely low now, and most airlines are waiving those annoying change fees, and even some cancellation fees
  3. Safety - Airlines are thoroughly cleaning their planes and ensuring distancing by blocking middle seats and front rows

 Driving

  1. Fewer people to be around - you are usually just around family members in your car, so no worries about social distancing
  2. Flexibility - you can still stop where you want, eat where you want and even take breaks and stay in a hotel, if needed
  3. Bonding time - you'll have plenty of this on a one to multiple-day road trip
